Tog feature on international radio broadcast with Brian MacKay-Lyons

Tog Studio featured on a recent international radio broadcast with their hero, Brian MacKay-Lyons, founder of the world-famous Ghost Lab, discussing the role of live-build.  The feature includes Micheal Holliday discussing Tog’s motivation to give architecture and engineering students the chance to get their hands dirty and the inspiration the team took from a visit to MacKay-Lyons’ farm in Nova Scotia.  It also features comment from Emily Stephen, Tog 2013 Fellow, discussing a typical day’s work on the Boathouse.  The finale of the programme is MacKay-Lyons describing why he established Ghost, and how it has grown over the years to have an influence in formal architectural education at Dalhousie University.

The programme is available on the Monocle website and occurs approximately 40mins into show 98.
