Tog Studio recently attended a Songs of Praise service and barbecue held by members of The Salvation Army at the Ashbrook Lifehouse in Edinburgh. The Tog Studio team were delighted to see the Sitooterie as a venue for the event which celebrated the arrival of a new chaplain. The event saw the Sitooterie used as a garden stage and pulpit for proceedings, which included a hymn sung in Polish by Tog participant Mariusz Merchel.
It was also an opportunity to catch up with the Ashbrook Lifehouse service users in attendance who were awarded with commemorative certificates as a memento of their achievements during the project.
This was the first event to be held in the garden at Ashbrook Lifehouse and it is hoped that the Sitooterie will continue to be enjoyed as a place to perform, sunbathe, chat, and shoot footballs through.
